Masks are out of stock in Japan

It’s not easy to buy masks here in Japan, at the moment.

For a culture where it’s normal for many to wear a surgical mask when you only have a cold, being unable to find one at this time is a hassle. Masks are out of stock in Japan right now.

At the moment, shoppers are greeted with the same, `Sorry, we don’t have any masks in stock’ messages.

It was challenging to find tissues and toilet rolls, too. Although, stores have started to restock their shelves with those items recently.
